Caving provides a real sense of exploration, adventure, fun and challenge to participants of all ages and abilities. Guided by one of our experienced instructors, you will walk, crawl and climb through natural caves that are full of natural geological wonders.

During the taster day you will explore the cave, take in it's features and learn how it was formed. You will complete some beginner routes to get comfortable with the passages before we take you deeper into the cave and explore more of its underground tunnels. This is a chance to see a part of the Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons) National Park that you may not have even known existed, and will be an experience you won't forget!

Requirements:
No previous experience required
All participants must be 7 years or older
Any participants under 18 must be accompanied by a paid participating adult
If you, or those you are booking on behalf of, have a medical condition, illness, any physical disability or additional need which may affect your ability to participate in an activity, please contact the centre prior to making your booking.

Additional Info:

• The taster day is likely to take place at Porth Yr Ogof (what 3 words:  ///pats.final.lads), but this is weather dependent.  We will inform you as early as possible if we need to change caves. 
  
• Our instructor will meet you at 10am, and the taster day will run until 4pm (including a lunch break).
• Lunch is not included, please bring your own packed lunch and drinks.
  
• Venue parking is not included (currently £4 per car)
