For a truly memorable visit to Calshot Castle, book one of our friendly and knowledgeable guides for a private tour. Available to book for groups of 10+, this tour will lead you through almost 500 years of coastal history, from Reformation England, through experiencing WWI, the Schneider Trophy, WWII as well as getting to see for yourself the many defensive features of the castle. The tour lasts approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour.
With your guide, you’ll make your way through the courtyard and up the tower, eventually ending on the roof, where you’ll have the perfect photo opportunity of views across the waves in all directions. If you’re a fan of ships, this is a must!
You’ll have the opportunity to ask the guide questions and purchase a keepsake of your visit from the castle gift shop. 
Please be advised that English Heritage membership holders must also pay for this experience.
Requirements:

• Able to traverse the uneven stone courtyard, which can become slippery, and the tower steps. These are worn and uneven in places.
• Minimum number of participants is 10. Maximum number of participants is 30.
• Comprehension level: best suited to those age 10+. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
• The castle is not accessible for wheelchairs and prams – there are steep uneven steps climbing the keep
• Service dogs are permitted
