RYA Level 2 Powerboat Handling

2 day course | ages 16+ | £290

RYA Level 2 Powerboat Handling

This course will provide you with the skills and knowledge required by the competent powerboat driver and is the basis of the ICC. Using planing craft, the course aims to teach boat handling and seamanship, focussing on high and low-speed handling, launching and recovery and collision regulations.
Successful candidates can apply for the ICC (power/coastal up to 10m) - please ask for details when booking.

- Layers and warm clothing highly recommended as out on the water most of the day, we can provide waterproofs.
- Powerboat Scheme Syllabus and Logbook Logbook is included - please add to booking (only 1 free logbook per participant will be honoured). It details the structure and content of all courses from beginner to advance within the RYA Powerboat Scheme. There is also a logbook section which enables you to keep a record of your personal powerboating achievements plus information relating to all relevant shorebased courses.
