Driftwood Highland Cow Workshop

Sunday 14 February 2027 | 09:30-12:30pm

We are delighted to welcome back Dan from I Made This 76 for a fantastic creative workshop where you'll make your own driftwood Highland Cow head.

Based near Yeovil, Dan is renowned for creating stunning sculptures from salvaged driftwood collected along the Jurassic Coast. His impressive portfolio includes life-sized stags, giant octopuses, a monstrous kraken, horses and Highland cows. Dan's work has been featured on BBC local news and on Grayson’s Art Club.

Join us at Minstead Study Centre as Dan brings his workshop to the New Forest. During this hands-on afternoon session, you'll create your own driftwood Highland Cow head, approximately 44cm x 32cm, mounted onto a wooden backing board, ready to display at home.

Whether you're an experienced crafter or a complete beginner, Dan will guide you through each stage of the process, helping you create a truly unique piece of rustic wall art.
