Woodland Warriors: Week

Woodland Warriors: Week

On a typical day you might trek into the woodland to forage for materials and learn about their unique properties from our expert environmental tutors. Whilst there you can let your creativity run wild with nature art, or else, head back on site to our purpose built campfire and try your hand at starting fire with the materials you've found.

Heading out onto the water in the afternoon in our canoes or kayaks, you'll quickly learn some new paddle skills and about the fascinating military history of the Basingstoke canal and surrounding area. Those with keen eyesight might even glance the great spotted woodpecker or native purple emperor butterfly.

Each day of the programme has a unique theme:

Monday: Exploration and Adventure
Tuesday: Shelter and Survival
Wednesday: Natural History
Thursday: Wild Safari
Friday: Climate and Conservation

Activities will commence at 09.30 in the morning and finish at 16.30 in the afternoon, drop off will be available from 08.30 and collection until 17.30.
