RYA Dinghy Instructor

5 day course I ages 16+ I £400

RYA Dinghy Instructor

This course is delivered over five days including some evenings. Training in teaching techniques afloat and ashore is provided during the course. Run by and RYA dinghy scheam trainer and moderated on the final day by a second trainer. 

Candidates will be required to semonstrate competence in course preparation, delivery and management as well as customer liaison.

  • Requirements:
    - An experianced sailor in strong winds
  • - A completed dinghy instructors pre-entry assessment (within 1 year prior to your instructor training course)
    - An appropriate valid first aid certificate. Check the RYA website to see if your certificate is suitable.
    - RYA safe & fun safeguarding certificate and pre-course work completed (accessed within the safe & fun course, this is an online course).
    - RYA powerboat level 2 certificate.

- We'll provide a lunch on the day of your course.
- Parking is included for the duration of your course.
